Loxahatchee River Watershed Stormwater Project

Organization Loxahatchee River District
Description Assess water quality in the Loxahatchee River Watershed, focusing on areas that contribute agriculture run-off. Sampling will be ~ quarterly following storm events. Data collection will include field parameters, physical properties, nutrients, trace metals and pesticides in whole water and bottom sediments.

Water-CAT, The Florida Water Resource Monitoring Catalog, was developed for the Florida Water Resources Monitoring Council by the Water Institute at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. The goal of the project is to collect and disseminate information about water monitoring activities in the state of Florida. Funding for the project is provided by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
